Competition Etiquette
Do Not Enter, Leave or Move around during any performance
Do Not talk during any performance
Do Not talk badly about any band, guard or drum line at any point during the comp. I don’t care if your in the bathroom, the parking lot, or to gym. This will only make you look bad!
Remember you are representing your school at all times!!!!
If you are leaving early or getting a different ride home, it must be arranged before hand!! Both drivers and instructors must be informed!!!!
If you see a guard or drum line going towards warm up or towards the gym to perform it is always a good idea to tell them good luck! Even if you are competing against them, it shows good sportsmanship!
Please try and watch the other guards, I would like it if you stayed by the gym, concessions, and bathrooms that way the moms and myself know your ok. You may socialize with other guards but stay near the gym, there is no reason to go anywhere other then these few places unless with an instructor.
